Full Journal pdf2002-05-11 House Journal Page 3541 SB 356 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the May 10, 2002, calendar (page 3496), was read the third time: 2002-05-11 House Journal Page 3542 SENATE BILL NO. 356 am "An Act relating to the authority of the Department of Environmental Conservation to issue general and individual permits for waste disposal; and providing for an effective date." Representative Kerttula moved and asked unanimous consent that she be allowed to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and Representative Kerttula was required to vote. The question being: "Shall SB 356 am pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: SB 356 am Third Reading Final Passage YEAS: 29 NAYS: 6 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 4 Yeas: Bunde, Chenault, Coghill, Crawford, Croft, Dyson, Fate, Foster, Green, Guess, Halcro, Harris, Hayes, Hudson, James, Kohring, Lancaster, Masek, McGuire, Meyer, Morgan, Moses, Murkowski, Porter, Rokeberg, Scalzi, Whitaker, Williams, Wilson Nays: Berkowitz, Cissna, Davies, Joule, Kapsner, Kerttula Excused: Stevens Absent: Kookesh, Kott, Mulder, Ogan And so, SB 356 am passed the House. Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Berkowitz gave notice of reconsideration of the vote on SB 356 am.
